1)    To expose defects in all aspects of the trial product and evaluate its reliability to a predetermined target during the development stage.
2)    To provide information for monitoring the production process during the production phase.
3)    Reliability appraisal or acceptance of stereotyped products. 
4)    Exposure and analysis of product failure conditions under different environmental and stress conditions and related failure modes and failure mechanisms.
5)    In order to improve product reliability, develop and improve reliability test plans, and provide users with the basis for selecting products.

 Climate Environmental Reliability Test include: high temperature, low temperature, temperature shock (gaseous and liquid), impregnation, temperature cycle, low pressure, high and low temperature, constant humidity, sand dust, salt spray corrosion, rain, solar radiation, photoaging, etc.
